End Citizens United – Fighting for Reform

End Citizens United is a political action committee established last March 1, 2015. It was funded by grassroots donors. Their mission is to counter the disastrous effects of Citizens United and reforming the campaign finance system. Their goal is also to elect pro-reform candidates, work with ballot measure campaigns to pass pro-reform laws and use grassroots membership to demonstrate political power on the issue of money in politics.

It started with the Supreme Court’s 2010 decision in Citizens United v. F.E.C. which completely changed the landscape of American elections. They’ll show elected officials, candidates and voters. They will also feature the press that the grassroots are fighting back with force against the rapid rise of defiance of billionaires trying to buy the elections.

The executive board is composed of top leaders who are dedicated to help overturn Citizens United and elect Democratic champions who will contest to get Big Money out of politics. End Citizens United is led by Tiffany Muller, President and Executive Director of the organization. Prior to joining End Citizens United, Tiffany was the Deputy Political Director at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. She is supported by Matt Burgess, Executive Vice President.

Previously, the organization raised more than $11 million in the previous election cycle. They have initiated a $5000 maximum donation for each donor. Their greatest strength is the power of the grassroots activists. They have recently submitted their latest filing with the Federal Elections Commission last March 2018. They maintain to be open and transparent.
