Hawaiian Burger at Fatburger

Fatburger has been one of my selected few food finds that I really enjoy coming back to. It’s the last great hamburger stand since 1952. If The Fatburger from my last review was sinful, wait for their newly launched Hawaiian Burger.

Original Fatburger along with my charms from PulseraMNL

Hawaiian Burger is part of the specialty menu. It’s compose of BIG and juicy 1/3 lb beef patty topped with bacon (Yes! Bacon!!!), double Swiss cheese, pineapple and teriyaki sauce. Isn’t that tempting? As they say, it’s a piece of paradise on each bun! Yum!

Hawaiian Burger with skinny fries, onion rings and Arnold Palmer.

What’s my take on it? I think it’s very refreshing for a burger. I’m really a fan of pineapple as a fruit or as adjunct to desserts but it really worked well with beef and bacon. This one really captured my heart. I’ll give it a HIT.

My Hawaiian Burger has no muss, no fuss. I like it as simple as it gets!

Meanwhile, I also tried their other offerings. Check out the photos below any my take on each:

Sweet Potato Fries

Sweet Potato Fries are one of my favorite sides at Fatburger. It was not too sweet yet very heavy and filling. I like it with tomato ketchup and mustard. I’ll give it a HIT.

Buffalo Wings

I always order Buffalo Wings at Fatburger. I usually get medium size and pick out two flavors. During this instance, I selected Sweet Bourbon BBQ and Sweet Teriyaki flavor. Both are equally tasty yet Sweet Bourbon BBQ gives you a more smoky flavor. I love to pair it with honey mustard sauce. My verdict? I give it an ACE.

Lastly, I tried their Banana Split. It was ok but I would like to commend their sweet banana. Nonetheless, it was just average for me. If you want ice cream based desserts, I recommend you try the Cold Stone store nearby.

  1. I would eat so many. Just so many. The only thing better than a great burger is a great burger with HAWAIIAN BREAD! Om nom nom.

  2. I’m a small lady, but I could pack away my weight in that burger and those sweet potato fries. I am seriously so hungry now!

  3. We have a FatBurger here in Buena Park, have to check out this specialty menu burger. Thanks for sharing.

  4. I knew this burger would have pineapples on it! If they could make a veggie version of this I would be so interested to try a burger with pineapples!

  5. Bacon and pineapple sounds like such a yummy way to top a burger! I haven’t tried this one at Fatburger, but it’s next on my must-try list.

  6. I always like pineapples in food like pizza and burger (hmmm I miss Jollibee’s hahaha Hawaiian Burger). Pineapple acts as a balancer to the taste.
