Persian Delights at Mike’s Chef Restaurant

Looking for a great post work out meal while craving for middle eastern flavors? Look no more! Mike’s Chef Restaurant offers freshly cooked Persian and Iranian meals for an affordable price.

Here are some of the best items I tried in their menu:

Papadum

Papadum is one of my favorite snacks. It’s very crunchy and a bit spicy. I tried their famous Chicken Biryani and it did not disappoint. It’s not so spicy yet well packed with flavors. It is garnished with ground black pepper.

Chicken Biryani (chicken is placed inside the rice)

My personal favorite would be the Mixed Samosa. It is composed of vegetable, chicken and beef samosa (2 each). It is served with mixed spicy sauce and some garnish on the side.

They also serve refreshing fruit shakes and other refreshments. The place used to be a former Persian Restaurant – Zahra Persian Grill House so the ambiance is almost the same with much improved ventilation and lighting. The price is very reasonable and the staff is very accommodating.

  1. This seems to be a joint where I see you get possibly everything that you can think of.

I always have that space reserved for joints with personalized names so I’m definitely going to give this one a go.

This blog reinforces my belief that the service is going to be a special experience. Here I come blokes, reserve a special space for me like I have one for you.

  2. I should not have come to your blog starving. The food looks amazing. Middle Eastern is my favorite food and right now I am in a remote location with no access to it – I must get this!!

  3. Oh never heard of this persian restaurant in Makati, would love to eat here one day if I’ll be in this city. I just remember when I found a Romanian restaurant in Paris they serve almost the same dish as Persian as well. I would like to try Mixed Samosa also it sound delicious!
