The Tennis Foodie Year End Report 3

Another challenging yet a very productive year for The Tennis Foodie.

As I mentioned before, The Tennis Foodie was born out of love and passion for Food, Tennis, Fashion and Travel. My third year was not short of drama, features, awards, travel, tennis and fashion. So what changed after three years?

The best was saved for last! In the Annual Bloggers Bash in London, United Kingdom, The Tennis Foodie was the recipient of the Annual Bloggers Bash 2019 Winner – Best Food Blog Award. I also got featured in Discovery – inflight magazines for Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon (Hong Kong City, Hong Kong).

For the last two years of the report, or rather since the time I learned how to create a blog, I have always include Google+, but since it ended this year, I didn’t include it anymore. I rarely use Twitter and Pinterest but I still get some traffic there. To be honest, I rarely post on social media nowadays. I was too busy with work and school but I make sure I post quality contents.

This year, I was able to travel to 4 countries (USA, Japan, Hong Kong and Mongolia). I haven’t finished blogging my travels this year. Maybe I’ll post them at the start of the year. Currently, I have USA, Japan and Thailand slated next year. I’m also planning to do Cambodia (finally!) and maybe another surprise country towards the end of the year. After I started studying my second masters degree, I got really busy and I shifted my priorities more with my own start-ups. Maybe this coming year, I can rest and enjoy some of the fruits of my labor.

In the tennis department, I withdrew in 3 tournaments I am originally slated to play. The time out actually gave me time to reassess my level and decided that 2020 will be my last season competitively. Currently, I’m taking my time to recover and do a much smarter schedule next year. I still want to win a tennis trophy. It’s a personal goal of mine. I got as far as quarterfinals (singles) and semifinals (doubles) for the last couple of years. I just want to have one breakthrough tournament! Will it be 2020? I’ll never know but I’ll keep working on it. Vollaix would still be my tennis outfit and Tenxpro would still be my racket.

One of my favorite Vollaix tennis kit. Purple really suits me well. I miss my tennis tan!

With regards to sponsors, there will be few changes in 2020. With new partnerships forged, you’ll see more new content at this website. Keep a look out for it.

One of my fun photoshoots few years ago. I hope to do one for 2020.

There will be a lot of giveaways, raffle, contests and other fun activities in store for my readers in 2020. Thank you to all my loyal readers and followers who have been there on my ups and especially on my down moments. This blog is dedicated to each and one of you. Let’s make 2020 the best year ever! I’m eager to hear your feedback and suggestions on my comment box. Thank you for being part of my gastronomic journey fort he last couple of years. I’m still writing because you make me feel special every time you engage on my contents.
