Pasig City, Philippines – August 20, 2025 – Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC) is continuing its mission to make healthy eating fun, practical, and delicious for Filipino families. The company is expanding its “I Love Veggie-Licious” Caravan to new communities across Metro Manila and Luzon, bringing the joy of vegetable cooking to more homes.

This initiative is a step toward the Ajinomoto Group’s 2030 outcomes: to help extend the healthy life expectancy of one billion people and reduce the company’s environmental impact by 50%. The caravan demonstrates that nutritious meals don’t have to be expensive or complicated; they can be accessible, easy to prepare, and delicious, especially with a little help from Ajinomoto products.
Since kicking off earlier this year in Quezon City, the caravan has already engaged about 750 residents. In addition, the “I Love Veggie-Licious” School Caravan is in full swing, using fun games and activities to teach grade school students about the importance of vegetables. Last year, the school caravan reached 5,900 students and 650 parents, making a significant impact on promoting healthy eating habits.
The caravan recently resumed in Sta. Lucia, Pasig City, welcoming over 300 Pasigueños for a morning of cooking demonstrations, nutrition education, and family-friendly activities. Over the next two months, the caravan will visit communities in Laguna, Bulacan, Quezon, and Pangasinan.

A Movement with a Heart
Aligned with APC’s “Eat Well, Live Well” philosophy, the caravan is part of the company’s commitment to championing nutrition and wellness in Filipino households. Interactive cooking demonstrations showcased practical, veggie-based recipes enhanced with AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning, proving that healthy meals can fit the Filipino palate.
APC’s experts also shared nutrition tips, including science-backed and “mom-approved” strategies to make vegetables more appealing to children. These tips include exposing kids to healthy food options early, getting creative with presentation to make dishes look fun, and adding flavors children already love, like cheese or ketchup. A registered nutritionist-dietitian also provided specific vegetable serving size recommendations: ½ cup per meal for kids aged 3-5, ¾ cup for those aged 6-9, and 1 cup for adults.
The program also featured APC’s full line of products, showing attendees the many possibilities for transforming ordinary recipes into “Veggie-Licious” meals that the whole family can enjoy.
The Future is Healthy
With each caravan stop, Ajinomoto strengthens its role as a partner in helping Filipino families live healthier lives. “Our aim is to inspire more families to welcome vegetables into their daily meals,” shares APC President Koichi Ozaki. “Through the ‘I Love Veggie-Licious’ Caravan, APC’s commitment to enhancing taste, nutrition, and sustainability deliciously comes together in every plate served at home.”

This is fantastic! It’s so important for kids to get their veggies in, healthy eating builds the foundation for a stronger lifestyle and great nourishment for their growing bodies. Kudos to Ajinomoto for bringing this to their communities!
This caravan looks like so much fun! What a great idea. I actually learned to love veggies for the first time in the Philippines myself, when I lived there as a teen in Pampanga! My titas made the best veggies and won me over. I hope this campaign continues strong through the Philippines!
This is such a great and positive movement! More countries and cities need to adopt this mentality. I wish them continued success.
Great initiative from Ajinomoto! For me, it’s not easy to make my kids eat veggies, but it’s worth it. Kids who grow up with healthy habits will be healthy adults.
