Pastries by Angeli Nasser – A Review

Recently, I discovered locally baked premium pastries with a touch of local flavor. Angeli Nasser is a Paris-trained pastry chef who is currently based in Manila. I had the privilege of trying her latest creations. Here’s my take on each one:

Want a slice of apple pie?

Apple Pie

The Apple Pie was properly delivered in a chic white and purple box. Upon opening it, you’ll smell the freshly baked apple pie. It was flavored with cinnamon. Each slice contains hefty amounts of apples. It was yummy at each bite. My verdict? I’ll give it an ACE.

The packaging is definitely world class.

Choco Lava Cake

This has to be my favorite in her menu. I topped it with double dutch ice cream, chocolate syrup and some cashews. The lava cake is good on its own but I like to be playful with food. It is  also perfect with a glass of coffee. My grade? I’ll give it an ACE.

My own version of playful choco lava cake

  1. Chocolate lava cake is my absolute favourite and this looks so tasty. And apple pie is a great one for this time of the year when it’s a bit warmer x

  2. Ι adore chocolate and even more if it is a chocolate cake! My best taste smination is with vanilla ice cream! thank you for sharing

  3. Apple pie and choco lava cake , OMG I am already mouth watering. I love the presentation and packaging. If i were to choose between the two I would choose apple pie anyday.

  4. Yum! I imagine the fragrance of cinnamon from the apple pie and the Choco Lava Cake, that’s a real indulgence! No doubt, French Patisserie or pattisserie inspired by it never fails to deliver something scrumptious.
